The dormouse is mainly nocturnal and an agile climber, living most of its life in the branches of shrubs, deciduous woodland, hedgerows and dense scrub. They are classified as a Priority Species in the UK Biodiversity Action Plan and suffering from loss of habitat and suitable places to nest.
This purpose built FSC timber circular nesting chamber is a perfect hideaway for these elusive little mammals allowing them to spend up to 6 months of the year hibernating and the rest looking after its young. It has a front inspection door and a rear entrance for the dormice.
