Commercial Bark
An excellent value for money bark mulch ideal for large commercial planting schemes.
Produced from conifer bark predominantly Spruce
Graded using the Rudnick and Enners rotating trommel to remove 0-5mm fines and +50mm oversize
Nominal 80% of product will pass through a 50mm and be retained on a 5mm sieve
Contains white wood, normally within 15% (by volume basis)
Moisture content in the region of 50-60% (green weight basis) on delivery
The weight/volume ratio (bulk density) is normally in the range of 200-350Kg/m3
The pH range is between 4.5 and 6.5
Free of all foreign matter such as metal, glass, plastic and any other extraneous materials
Mid/light brown in colour with a slight but pleasant odour
Durable, long lasting and free from pathogens, pests and weed seeds
Please Note: Due to the nature of this product and the screening process oversize pieces of wood may occur. However, these can easily be removed at the time of installation
Application Rates
We recommend that all our mulches are laid at a depth of between 50 & 100mm to obtain the best results. Allowing 10% for settlement
