USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH BROADLEAF P4 FOR LONG TERM BENEFITS
Broadleaf Root Dip, like P4, absorbs water to release to the plant. Root Dip is a powder made up of micro-fine crystals which, when hydrated, create a thick soup of tiny gel particles. This substance is ideal for coating the roots of bare-root transplants,
protecting them from desiccation and vastly extending the time they can remain out of the ground. By dipping then wrapping the roots, transplants can safely be stored for weeks.
Features & benefits:
- Very economical; just 1kg of powder can treat up to 1,300 45-60cm transplants
Allows transplants to be safely stored for weeks
Greatly reduced losses compared to untreated transplants
Beneficial for all sizes of soft- and hardwood trees and all species of bushes and shrubs
Ideal for bare-root transplanting of vegetable crops and international transporting of bare-root plant material
Please note: bare-root dipping is intended to extend out-of-soil life and counteract transplant shock.
It is not designed to replace P4, which will still be needed to supply roots with adequate moisture.
